To inspire the awareness of integrity and self-discipline as well as social responsibility among college students in the new era, the College of Materials Science and Engineering took the May 4th Youth Day as an opportunity to innovatively carry out a series of educational activities under the "Clear Breeze Action". From April 22nd to 30th, the college transformed serious integrity education into a "youth classroom" that is popular among young people through various forms such as immersive experiences, youth commitment ceremonies, and integrity knowledge competitions. A total of over 300 teachers and students participated, and the activity achieved remarkable results.

1. Immersive experience, activating new impetus for integrity education

On April 22nd, the college, in collaboration with the Youth Integrity Culture Communication Center, launched a distinctive activity called "Integrity Undercover Bureau". By designing "compliance terms" and "violation terms", it guided students to distinguish behavioral differences such as "research trips" and "public-funded tourism", "work meals" and "public-funded banquets" in a simulated scenario, and to identify the "Integrity Undercover Bureau" through role-playing and logical reasoning. This immersive experience makes abstract institutional regulations vivid and tangible, effectively enhancing educational outcomes.

2．Make a commitment to youth and firmly establish a sense of integrity

From April 29th to 30th, the college launched the "Youth Building Dreams, Integrity Walking Together" May 4th Commitment Fulfillment Campaign. Teachers and students signed their names solemnly on the "Commitment Tree" display board and wrote down their commitments in aspects such as academic integrity, classroom discipline, frugality, online civility, and serving the people.

3. Promote learning through competitions and strive to be a pioneer of integrity

From April 29th to 30th, the college held the "Integrity Pioneer Competition", with the integrity knowledge challenge map as the core carrier, and set up special points such as the "Integrity Reward Area", "Integrity Trap Area", and "Integrity Academy". Participants needed to earn points through knowledge quizzes and level-clearing efficiency. The one with the highest total points at the end won. The atmosphere at the event was lively. The students expressed that this kind of activity was novel in form and profound in content.

The "Clear Breeze Action" of the college of Materials Science and Engineering innovated the form of integrity education from the perspective of the youth, closely linking the responsibility of the youth with integrity education. It replaced one-way theoretical indoctrination with interactive practical classes, allowing young students to understand the weight of the word "honesty and integrity" in an entertaining and educational way - they are not only rules but also a faith. It's not just a constraint, but also a source of confidence.
