On the morning of June 21, 2025, the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Shenzhen University grandly held the 2025 Graduation Ceremony and Degree-Awarding Ceremony in Wenhui Auditorium. All teachers and students witnessed this important moment of youthful blooming together.

Vice President Li Yonghua of Shenzhen University, the dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Professor Wang Lei, the dean, Professor Zhu Deliang, Professor Chen Xiaoqiang, Associate Professor Hu Lipeng, the vice deans, Li Xiaoping, Deputy Secretary, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Ms. Zhang Yingjun, an alumnus representative of the school, and over 30 teachers from the school gathered together to share this joy and glory with over 200 graduates of the class of 2025 and their parents. The graduation ceremony and Degree-Awarding Ceremony were presided over by Lv Qian, the Party Secretary of the college.

As the melodious music began to play, a carefully crafted graduation video was displayed on the large screen in the auditorium, reviewing the graduates' days at school and expressing best wishes for their future lives. Immediately after, all the teachers and students stood up and sang the "National Anthem of the People's Republic of China", officially kicking off the graduation ceremony.

The dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering, in his speech, extended warm congratulations and high praise to all the graduates of the class of 2025. The students not only completed their studies with excellent grades but also achieved remarkable results in subject competitions and scientific research, fully demonstrating the outstanding style and solid skills of the young students in the materials discipline.

Ms. Zhang Yingjun, as an alumnus representative, affectionately recalled the memories of her student days and her growth trajectory after graduation, encouraging all the graduates to always keep their innocent hearts and continue to write the spiritual inheritance and mission responsibility of materials science scholars in the tide of the times.

He Yingfeng, a representative of undergraduate graduates, and Li Na, a representative of postgraduates, took the stage to deliver speeches in turn. Two students expressed their deep love and lofty aspirations for their Alma mater. By drawing on their own growth and personal experiences, they interpreted the mission and responsibility of materials science students to pass on the torch.

Dean Wang Lei, Vice Dean Zhu Deliang, Vice Dean Chen Xiaoqiang, and Deputy Secretary Li Xiaoping presented certificates of honor to the outstanding graduates.

Teachers Huang Chuanwei, Pan Chengjun, Han Ting and Fang Ming, the class advisors of the undergraduate graduating class, successively extended their sincere blessings to all the graduates, hoping that the students would hold firm to their ideals and pursue their dreams!

      Secretary Lv Qian announced the voting results for "The Most Popular Teachers of Students". Vice President Li Yonghua presented the trophies to the winning teachers.

Vice President Li Yonghua then delivered an enthusiastic speech. With affectionate strokes, he sketched out the growth trajectory of the graduates' striving and forging ahead, pointing out that this tempering process was not only a witness to the personal breakthroughs of the students, but also highlighted the practical achievements of the school's educational philosophy.

After the ceremony, in a solemn and sacred atmosphere, the graduates took the stage one by one. The dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering and Vice President Li Yonghua respectively turned the tassels and presented the degree certificates to the postgraduate and undergraduate graduates.

Finally, Vice President Li Yonghua led all the teachers and students to sing "Ode to the Motherland" together. Vice President Li Yonghua, Secretary Lv Qian, Professor Liu Fusheng, all the university instructors of the student affairs team and representatives of the current students sang "Friend" together to bid farewell to the graduates.

With the host solemnly declaring the end of the ceremony, this graduation ceremony and Degree-Awarding Ceremony, which carried the glory of youth, came to a successful conclusion.
