From March 21 to March 23, Professors Chang Chengshuai and Xie Chuan from the School of Materials Science and Engineering participated in the “Direct Path to the College Entrance Examination | Universities Visit High Schools — National Elite Universities Visit Qingdao” event co-hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Admission and Examination Office and the Education Channel of Qingdao Broadcasting and Television Station. During the event, they visited six high schools: Qingdao No. 9 High School, Qingdao No. 17 High School, Qingdao No. 1 High School, Qingdao No. 58 High School, Laixi No. 1 High School, and Qingdao West Coast No. 1 High School.

During face-to-face exchanges with high school students and parents in the Qingdao area, Professors Chang Chengshuai and Xie Chuan vividly illustrated Shenzhen University's strong faculty, outstanding academic exchange platforms, and abundant international educational resources. They provided detailed introductions to the university's notable achievements in discipline development, scientific research innovation, and talent cultivation, showcasing the unique charm of the university as a high-level comprehensive institution of higher education.

Through this offline consultation activity, students and parents in the Qingdao region gained a deeper understanding of Shenzhen University and obtained accurate and detailed admission information. This not only addressed numerous questions students had about college application procedures but also provided parents with professional guidance, helping them make more informed decisions based on their individual circumstances. The two teachers' professional explanations and enthusiastic responses received high praise from students and parents, laying a solid foundation for Shenzhen University's recruitment promotion efforts in the Qingdao region.
